ACADEMIC EXPERIENCE

Taught a workshop on pinhole photography at IA&A at Hillyer (2016); co-taught freshman-level course, “Visual Culture and Identity” at George Mason University (2012); volunteer co-taught photography and film at Al-Rowwad Center, Aida Refugee Camp, Bethlehem as part of the“Images for Life'' project (2009); co-led workshops as outreach coordinator for D.C. Dabkeh Dance Troupe at universities and K-12 schools around the United States on the history of traditional Palestinian dance (2007-2009); acted as lead researcher on a project to record the history of the Women’s Center at George Mason University (2005).
